Fayette County Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, schedule visits, or pull official booking records. Use the official contacts below for custody, records, court, warrant, state prison, federal, or immigration questions.

Where to Ask

Fayette County records are split by agency. The Fayette County Detention Center handles current local jail custody through LFUCG Community Corrections. LFUCG Open Records handles public-records requests for Community Corrections records. Kentucky courts handle case records after an arrest, while the sheriff remains the local warrant contact. State, federal, and immigration custody use separate locator systems.
